The projects that are carried out as part of the Freeband Knowledge Impulse programme, can be placed under the following sub programmes:

RPT – Research Programme for Telecommunications:
fundamental technological research.

RPTA – Research Programme for Telecommunication Applications:
research focused on the development of applications.

TESTBED: provides testing facilities that leverage the potential of both Freeband research programmes.
